You look like a gypsy. Want to lick my crystal balls?

The Dark Crystal by Jim Hensen.

Ahh weeds. I think I have been watching a little too much of it lately. Im up to the end of season five and have a serious obsession with Andy Botwin and Doug the accountant. Ah-mah-zing.
Anyway another thing that I used to watch relentlessly was The Dark Crystal. My awesome sister just bought it for me and I have been reliving my childhood tucked into bed on sunday nights. Very enjoyable indeed.
So O.K. crystals. Apart from that epic film i've always thought they were pretty damn ugly and only for hippies and strange folks who hung them out on a full moon to recapture their full powers (whatever they are apart from sitting there like the inanimate object they are). I am now ready to feast on my words. First there was the sadly passed genius Alexander McQueen's crystal boots. Stunning and with an incredible shard of crystal for the heel. Now Stylist Tamilia Purvis and Art Director Melanie Kamsler have started a range of jewellery 'Mania Mania'. Glorious pieces that are using crystals in a truly fab way. I am in love. I have my peepers on 'The Immortal Ring' and the rest of the collection too might I add. Check it out here but get your credit card ready. The crystals will get ya...

Chickenheads unite.

Bring on the cash money.
Back in the day Jeremy Scott, an all time favourite, was inspired by a bit of cold hard cash and everything luxe producing the 'Opulence Collection'. It was sublime.
More recently the creative duo that are Romance was Born have brought us the collection 'Nightmare on Wall Street'. Another amazing collection inspired heavily by the good old green back. I bought a money hairclip and I have to say it is fast becoming one of my most coveted accessories. Who needs the plastic fantastic - it's all about the cash cash cash.

People who live in glass houses.

One thing I love to day dream about while plugging away at my work computer is the world outside... I know this is hardly original and everyone has these fantasys. To be able to dictate our own time? A place where I can escape, where I can see the light, the trees, smell the fresh air and basically embrace the life of a modern day luddite. Alas my budget doesn't stretch to more than paying rent in the city and taking one day off every couple of month's but you never know... One day it may happen.... We can only dream and hope can't we?

Anyway, enough rambling.... These house's are pure fantasy... Just dreamy.
